There are different ways to express something. This difference is shown below:
Simple sentence has only one statement to make. There is normally only one verb in it.
- You can climb the tree.
- The broom is under the table.
- Be a good boy.
- Don't run on the grass.
Complex Sentence comes with an independent clause and a dependent clause.
- He cannot hear because he is deaf.
- The birds are happy because they are out of the cage.
- The book is very interesting that is why you must read it.
- They went to the principal because he had called them.
Declarative Sentence states a fact. It simply conveys what one wants to say without seeking answers in return.
- You sing well.
- India is not a small country.
- I like the movie.
- Ganges flow from west to east.
